Learn responsibility and team work, and a sense of community:
Group presentation based on a tour site and individual research paper the group comes up with a creative way to present to the rest of the bus.
World Service Project- decided on and done as a group to raise money for The Cheshire YMCA’s International Committee to help other YMCA’s in other countries.
Learn to compromise and to share:
Students are put into study groups that compromise a mix of schools that are picked at random, they don’t get to chose their study groups. This way they develop relationships with students from other schools and don’t have a sense of going on a trip with a “bunch of strangers”. Often times, these are students that they will be attending high school with.
