New England Heritage Tour (N.E.H.T)

Preparation: Seventh grade students meet monthly for seven months and work on two main tasks:

  1. Historical Background Gathering: Students learn about the places they will be visiting through discussions, videos and study questions.

  2. World Service Project: Each group performs a fundraiser to support the CYMCA's international efforts.


The tour: Focusing on early colonial and revolutionary history, the New England Heritage Tour visits historical sites in Concord, Lexington, Plymouth, New Bedford, and Boston, Massachusetts.
